Our Story
Khun Yong and Khun Pa have the opportunity to travel to many provinces in Thailand over the years. They discovered that in each province of Thailand there are local products that are beautiful, meaningful, and have profound stories behind them. Each product has its origins from the lives of people in each locality with their specialized skills in producing community-based products
Even though products of the Thai community have beautiful stories behind and are meticulously produced, they are underappreciated and undervalued as the stories behind these beautiful products are often not known.
Borirak comes from the family name “Asavaborirak” of Khun Yong and Khun Pa, who believe that if we source high quality products with unique designs and market these to the world market, we can add value to such products and create a sustainable income for Thai craftsmen, bringing pride to the community and improving overall standard of living of the people.
